Exfoliants
We combine three exfoliating ingredients that work in tandem to tackle those stubborn red or white bumps, as well as dry/flaky skin, and rough skin texture.
Salicylic Acid (BHA)
Salicylic acid (BHA) is an oil-soluble exfoliant that can absorb deeply into your skin to break down keratin build-up in pores, while softening and exfoliating dead skin cells. It even has an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effect.
Lactic Acid (AHA)
Lactic acid (AHA) is a water-soluble exfoliant that complements BHA exfoliants by gently exfoliating closer to the skin surface. It can improve skin texture while safely removing dead & dry skin cells.
Urea
Urea is a humectant that can draw water into your skin, helping to hydrate & preserve the moisture barrier.
It also acts as an exfoliant that promotes new cell growth by gently breaking down the outer layer - it even helps BHAs and AHAs to penetrate deeper into the skin's layers.
Soothing Ingredients
Many of us experience redness and irritation in addition to rough bumps - so soothing our skin can help to both reduce the redness and help us resist that urge to scratch.
Aloe Vera
Well-known for helping with sunburn, aloe vera is a natural plant-based ingredient that is fantastic for soothing and moisturising dry or damaged skin, while being rich in anti-oxidants.
It contains anti-inflammatory properties and is non-irritating, making it perfect if you have sensitive skin.
Niacinamide
There’s a lot of hype about niacinamide - and with good reason. As a form of Vitamin B3, niacinamide can penetrate deeply to soothe skin and improve uneven skin tone.
Studies have shown that it is more effective than some medical treatments against inflammation caused by acne. Being rich in anti-oxidants, it is commonly used in anti-ageing treatments.
Moisturising Agents
Keeping your skin hydrated is a must, as dry skin is a common trigger for making bumps worse, and exfoliating can have a drying impact.
Our hydrating ingredients are non-comedogenic, ie, they don't clog pores, as this can make it more difficult to achieve smooth skin.
Squalane
We use plant-based squalane which has properties that can soften skin, calm redness and boost hydration. Squalane moisturises the skin, while also adding a protective barrier that helps to lock in moisture.
Jojoba Esters
Jojoba Esters are very similar to the sebum (oils) produced by human skin.
It reduces skin redness, provides superior skin hydration and helps to restore the skin barrier function - enhancing your skin's appearance.
I am 33 and have had KP on the back of my upper arms for my whole life, but it has been particularly bad since I was about 18, so much so that every summer someone will comment on my 'sunburnt' arms. It got even worse during my last pregnancy with the bumps and redness spreading down my arms, up my shoulders, to the inside of my arms and to my bum!
Over the years I have tried so many different ways to treat it, trying each method for a minimum of 6 months but often for years to no or minimal improvement. Off the top of my head, this is what I've tried:

My next step was to book a dermatologist appointment but I am so lucky that BeyondKP popped up in my Instagram ads and I decided to give it a go. I've been using it just over a month now and I can't believe what a difference it's made! It actually does what it promises and I can't remember the last time my arms felt this smooth! I'd say the bumps have decreased by about 80% and the redness by about 40% (they were very very red to start with). I've just bought the Barrier Repair Cream in the hope that will help reduce the redness more.

I really wanted this to work - I’ve used consistently for a few months (both creams and the scrub) my skin went a bit worse to start but hasn’t worked and my skin is still really red. Bugger. I’ve had bad KP on my arms forever and unfortunately no fix. Will keep trying. Good size creams for the size however.

I have been dealing with itchy skin on my legs for years and after finding this product and using it for only two days, my legs are itchier and sensitive. I’m in so much discomfort and pain. I will never use this again and not recommend to anyone.

It works wonders on keratosis pilaris, dry skin, cracked heels, and rough elbows.. basically anywhere that needs extra care & exfoliation.
I’ve noticed such a huge improvement in my skin since I started using it, and having one product that can do it all is amazing.
I have had KP for as long as I can remember and have tried too many products to count. I love how this product combines AHA, BHA and Urea, a combination hard to find in most KP products.
After using BeyondKP for eight weeks I have noticed a significant reduction in bumps, my skin feels so much smoother! There is still some redness, but I am very happy with my progress.
